Compare a base by its setting and your confirmed travel arrangements, with observation time as part of the decision.
The best base for a particular visit depends on the plan around it. Consider how you will arrive, where you want to spend time and what you have actually booked. A familiar camp name or an appealing photograph is a starting point for comparison, not a complete description of a stay.
Distinguish the settings
Okaukuejo is associated with its camp waterhole, while NWR describes Halali as a setting beside a dolomite hill and mopane trees. Namutoni has its own resort information. These are distinct places; compare the information for the actual base you are considering.

Ask questions that affect your day

Compare like with like. An accommodation listing, a package itinerary and a separate activity can use similar place names while offering different things. Look at the named provider, the inclusions and the terms instead of relying on a photograph or headline alone.
